The“Five-Sphere Integrated Plan” of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era serves as the fundamental guideline for the construction of national sports tourism demonstration zones， reflecting the core values of such initiatives. Using methods such as expert interviews and case analysis， this paper studies the value logic and promotion path of the construction of national sports tourism demonstration zones， with Hainan Province as a case study. The study analyzes the specific practices， achievements， and challenges encountered in building these zones. The research suggests that the construction of national sports tourism demonstration zone holds significant value for the sports tourism industry， including the transformation of economic value， highlighting the function of peaceful development， enhancing social benefits， activating cultural connotations， and deepening the concept of green development. However， several challenges hinder the process， including the inconsistent coordination of governance factors，the incomplete mechanism of talent introduction and cultivation， limited ecological environment carrying capacity and the weak foundation for digital transformation. To address these challenges， the study proposes a promotion pathway that is navigated by the optimization of the governance field， supported by education， science， and technology talents， grounded by enriching green supply， and guided by promoting technological innovation.
